Here's my last block for On My Window Flowers Bloom. I see now that I should have chosen a lighter brown for the vase or used a brighter purple for the flower so that it would have stood out more.
Hi Terry for some reason I'm having a problem leaving a message 3rd time trying????? Your vase of blooms are incrediable, so so very beautiful. If you want some contrast on that bottom bloom cover the vase you could try doing a machine appliqué stitch on the outer edges of the bloom using a sulky gold thread? but I think it looks OK how it it is , one very very beautiful block Cheers Glenda

ReplyDeleteA beautiful choice of color for the blooms! What about a light gray to stitch around the flower that is over the base? Simply beautiful.
